First ASAP XP Delivered

We announced back in July of last year that we were partnering with Sofcoast in order to help design/build/deliver the next version of ASAP. Well, we are pleased to announce that the first ASAP XP has been delivered to Murray State University in Kentucky (Murray Ledger & Times Article)

The compressed development cycle was exciting to say the least; there were more than a few times when I was reminded of the Gene Krantz quote from Apollo 13 fame: "Failure is not an option." And thanks to some outstanding support from our vendors, who stayed overtime, expedited shipping, and answered the phone late at night, we managed an on-time delivery of what we feel is great first unit.

We were grateful to find craftsmen who were willing to go the extra mile, provide feedback for product improvement, and who still care about the quality of their work and customer service. Not everything comes from Places Unknown, destined for a Big Box Store - There are still places were craftsmen ply their trade and treat their customers as they would want to be treated. And despite the long hours; less than nutritious diet of coffee, nicotine and burgers; and just a bit of stress for good measure, we were very glad to be part of it.

Look for more on ASAP XP in the coming months.
